TOMAR

The Quinta is 15 minutes drive from the historical town of Tomar, in Central Portugal. Tomar is famous for the Knights Templar, who built an incredible monastery and castle atop of one of the mountains overlooking the town. It's quite the architectural feat and is only a few hundred years old.

Tomar has a beautiful center which a river runs through, making this historic town look like an extremely small Venice.

There are weekly farmers markets and many incredible restaurants to enjoy.

Tomar is 2 hours by train and 1.5 hours drive from Lisbon, so its very easy to reach.
