MILL
The star of the Quinta is the 150+ year old stone olive mill. Some years ago, this 400sqm structure would press and produce thousands of litres of local olive oil. Nowadays, it sits strong but weathered at the end of our country lane.
We have grand plans for this beautiful piece of history. Imagine a cellar door with local organic produce, wines and farm produce. Imagine beautiful rooms for rest, night sky pondering from our observatory and relaxing reads in the library...
Once we have regenerated the olive trees, olive oil from the grove will be on offer, and include a community space for relaxing and creating.
In late 2017, we will announce the restoration plans and welcome support through a global Kickstarter for the project.
